JDAP Mission Statement

JDAP stands for Job Development Assistance Program.  JDAP is a private vendor that works with the State of Colorado Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) and focuses on assisting young adults with barriers to employment.  There are several steps involved in becoming a client with JDAP.  The "consumer" (person that has a qualifying barrier) must become eligible for services through DVR.  Once eligibility has been established, JDAP Advisor and DVR counselor will meet with the consumer.  The consumer will discuss areas of job development interest and the JDAP advisor will schedule a series of meetings with the consumer to work on job interest goals and learn the necessary skills for successful employment.
